Jessica Dertell wins the Grand Prix Special at Brisbane CDI

Congratulations to Jessica Dertell for winning the Grand Prix Special at the Brisbane CDI on Saturday! Jessica rode Cennin to win the class on a score of 72.043%. Mary Hanna placed second on Ivanhoe with a score of 71.660%, while Alexis Hellyer placed third on a score of 68.149% riding Daenarys.

Jessica also won the Grand Prix CDI-U25 on Syriana, with a score of 68.590%. Second place went to Tanisha Ryan on Prequel with a score of 67.521%, while third went to Clairy Plenty on Queensland with a score of 57.650%.

In the CDI-Y Individual Test, Bridgette Dalmau claimed first place with a  score of 68.873% riding Bon Jovi MH. Jessica Dertell placed second and third, riding Eskara De Jeu (67.745%) and Gladstone M H (66.814%) respectively.

In the CDI-J Individual Test, it was Angelina Enbarr who claimed another win, scoring 67.794%, while Benjamin Button Esquire and Mia Nelson won the CDI-P Individual Test on 66.171%. Zali Mills and Bloomfield Royal Winston won the CDI-Ch Technical Test on 63.2%, while Mia Doogue and Delon Park Hilkens Shadow were the overall CDI-Ch (Childrens) Champions.

Hillary McGregor and Karabil Park Sir Jazz won the Inter I Freestyle, scoring 73.905% to narrowly beat Matthew Lord and Remi Vigneron on 73.73%; Matthew and Remi Vigneron were named overall Small Tour Champions. The Medium Tour Freestyle went to Serena Ireland and Royalty R on 71.67%, with the pair also named overall Medium Tour Champions. Robyne Smith and Gwandalan Luca won the Grand Prix CDN Freestyle on 69.065%.

The Advanced, Elementary and Preliminary classes also took place on Saturday, with the Open Advanced Championship going to Nicole Magoffin and Haracaido, and the AOR Advanced Championships going to Madison Clarke and Fiesta. The Open Elementary Championship went to Emma Flavelle-Watts and Davrol Dexter, while the AOR Elementary Championship went to Kylee Chandler and Brazzen Rock. Hillary McGregor and Karabil Park Santeria, Friday’s Open Novice Champions, also claimed the Open Preliminary Championship. Laura-Grace Nicholls won the AOR Preliminary Championship riding Booroodabin Force.

The final day of competition concludes Sunday.
