Australian dressage rider Gina Montgomery has won the Kl. S*** Inter II and Kl. S*** Short Grand Prix at Dressurfestival Neustadt Dosse in Germany, riding Dream Big.
Gina and the 12-year-old Hanoverian gelding (Desperados x Weltfriede), owned by Jonny Hilberath, scored 69.781% in the Inter II and 68.837% in the Short Grand Prix.
“Wow, what a thrill… very thankful to this German horse for giving me the chance to hear the Aussie anthem played for us. I really have no words, so special,” said Gina following the event.
Gina travelled to Germany in March 2022 and has been based there since, training with Jonny Hilberath. She took Hanoverian stallion Braveaux 2 with her, and has been competing him at Small Tour level with success.
Congratulations Gina!
