Janelle Marshall & Erresistible represent Australia on the world stage

The FEI World Pony Driving Championships concluded in Oirschot, The Netherlands over the weekend, with titles awarded across the Pony Singles, Pairs and Four-In-Hand competitions. There were over 100 entrants from 17 countries and more than 250 ponies in action, and among them was Janelle Marshall representing Australia on the world stage.
Janelle contested the Pony Singles event with Erresistible, owned by Barbara Sims. The pair scored 62.10 for 28th place in the dressage, 103.35 for 28th in the marathon, and 10.09 for 16th in the cones phase. Overall, Janelle and Erresistible received a total score of 175.54 to rank 25th in the world. Congratulations Janelle!
Drivers from Switzerland, France and Germany took the top thee slots in the Pony Singles: Cédric Scherrer and Donovan’s Dusty won the gold on 143.94; Berengere Cressent and Dakotah’s Owen took the silver on 149.72; and Anna Genkinger with Bella Donna 141 was awarded the bronze on 151.86.
In the Pony Pairs competition, Dutch drivers swept the podium. Rodinde Rutjens won the gold on 146; Melanie van de Bunt won the silver on 151.25; and Cas Hendriks claimed the bronze on 153.99.
In the Pony Four-In-Hand competition, Dutch driver Marijke Hammink took the gold on 155.46; Switzerland’s Yannik Scherrer claimed the silver on 156.93; and Germany’s Steffen Brauchle was awarded the bronze with 170.66.
