Mounted Games World Championships get underway at Werribee

The Mounted Games World Championships have kicked off in the sunshine at Werribee Park National Equestrian Centre in Victoria.

What a day… and it’s only Day 1 off competition. Fabulous weather, spectacular grounds, wonderful ponies, and sensational riders making up 20 teams from 12 countries. All round, it’s a fair dinkum great atmosphere!

Our Australian Under 18 team are currently second to England by just 2 points. The Australian Open Team finished Day 1 in fourth position, 13 points behind the leaders from Ireland.

There are still two days of actioned packed heats before the finals on Saturday. Free entry so come and enjoy the experience!
