Scone Polo International’s winning run at the 58th Abierto del Jockey Club Copa Thai Polo Cup in San Isidro, Argentina has continued, following a sensational 11-8 Semi Final win against a very strong Monterosso.

Scone’s team was comprised of Camilo Castagnola (10-goal handicap), Adolfo ‘Poroto’ Cambiaso Jr. (10), Bartolomé ‘Barto’ Castagnola Jr. (10) and team founder David Paradice (0), with Lucas Monteverde Jr. (6) filling in for David in the later chukkers of the match. Barto Castagnola was again named Scone’s MVP.

Scone’s path to the Final has included wins over Cañuelas (16-9) and La Ensenada (15-11) in the qualifying matches, and they will now face a very competitive La Dolfina in the Final at 3pm local time on Saturday, 23 September.

La Dolfina’s team includes none other than Adolfo Cambiaso (10), who has not only played for Scone in the past but is also Poroto Cambiaso’s father – and considered to be the world’s best player. Lining up alongside Adolfo will be Paco de Narvaez (4), Tomas Panelo (9), and Mariano Gonzalez Jr. (7).
