Stable Ground Australian Dressage Championships wrap up at Boneo Park

Sunday saw the final day of what has been a thrilling Stable Ground Australian Dressage Championships.
The CDI-U25 Grand Prix Freestyle saw a reverse of yesterday’s top two in the Grand Prix, with Jessica Dertell recording a win riding Syriana on a score of 75.19%; Kate Kyros and Chemistry were a close second today on 74.735%. Jessica and Syriana were named the overall CDI-U25 Champions, with Tanisha Ryan and Prequel named the Reserves Champions.
The CDI-Y Young Rider Freestyle saw another fabulous performance from Kate Kyros and Intro K today, with the pair scoring 76.67%. Kate was named the overall CDI-Y Champion, with Jessica Dertell and Gladstone MH the Reserve Champions.
The CDI-J Junior Freestyle was won by Rosemary Heagney and Redgum James 007 on 69.015%. The overall CDI-J Championship went to Tia McKenzie and Phenomenon, who had a very consistent event across their three Junior classes, while Rosemary and Redgum James 007 were the Reserve Champions.
The CDI-P Pony Rider Freestyle went to Bianca Griffiths and Benita PD on 66.333%. Overall, it was Abby Weel and Reitland’s Obama who claimed the CDI-P Championship, with Bianca Griffiths and Benita PD the Reserve Champions.
The CDN Grand Prix Special was the final class in Sabble Farm Ring 1 today, and it was Breanna Tillitzki who topped the field riding BZ Rafael. The pair scored 66%.
In other classes, the Novice Championship went to David Shoobridge and his young homebred stallion Vittorio DS, while Hillary McGregor was the Reserve Champion with Karabil Park Santeria. In the Pony Novice Championship, Toni Webb and her Welsh Cob Salient Park Once Again, aka Scooter, had a fabulous day and won both the 2.2 and 2.3 with scores over 70% to be named the Pony Novice Champions. Caitlyn Porter and Mr Right Now were the Reserve Champions.
Today saw the conclusion of a fabulous Stable Ground Australian Dressage Championships. Well done to event director Jade Woodhead Butler and the team at Carlton Performance Horses who ran a terrific event as always!
